Fig and Olive is a spectacularly airy fine dining restaurant on Melrose Place right smack in the middle of Los Angeles. Half of the restaurant’s walls are lined in beautiful bottles of olive oil while the other side is tastefully done with wall sconces and candles. There is fresh rosemary growing all throughout the entire restaurant and open box planters and right in the middle of the restaurant stands the beautiful Olivetree. You can’t help but feel the elegance and class the moment you walk in to this restaurant. It has a beautiful bar lounge area, and if you’re lucky enough to be with more than four people, the booths aligned with cozy square pillows to relax against. With the exception of the olive tree, everything sits very low and contemporary. There are a couple outside eating areas, the main dining area and the bar lounge.
