IMG_0495We have all been profoundly moved and inspired while watching Olympic level gymnastics.  The art of being upside down is fascinating and provides endless opportunities to handstand in new places. For most, the free standing handstand is a lofty admirable goal. Much like the acrobatic hand to hand however, it is only where the fun begins. Hand balancing requires extreme aerial awarenes and an ability to micro manage movements and isolated body parts so you can balance on parallel bars, rings, bars and people.

Training the handstand helps you become more flexible,  powerful,  agile and more connected… it’s also helpful in getting more useful definition in your body! Gymnastics and hand balancing does not accept mediocrity. It demands your personal best in strength, tension, flexibility and focus and Tari can help get you there!

One of the first things Tari ask when he begins teaching or training a new art form is, is it sustainable?  Will it carry us through our 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and beyond?  Can we safely but enthusiastically practice it for a lifetime?  With the right gymnastics training, Tari have found that we can.  He has been fortunate enough to train under a few of the World’s master hand balancers, as well as other gymnastics masters who have turned training into a finely tuned sustainable science.

Did you know you can build unfathomable strength, muscle and ability without ever stepping foot into a gym or lifting weights?  One of the beautiful things about hand balancing training is there is always a place to begin, right where you are.  If you’re curious, book a private session with Tari to discover some of the secret tools and techniques that gymnasts use to reach spectacular feats of strength.
