Strength, Stability & Trust
As the foundation, you learn to root yourself in calm, steady energy. You discover the perfect balance between holding tension and staying graceful — becoming both tight and light at the same time. You understand bone stacking, counterbalance, and breath work to powerfully support your partner. Over time you build serious strength, tone your entire body, and gain excellent core stability and aerial awareness. Most importantly, you develop deep trust and clear communication with your flyer.
The Flyer – Freedom, Thrill & Surrender
This is where you take flight. By fully trusting and pushing into your base, you experience the thrill of getting a natural high through flight. You twist and turn into beautiful positions you’ve never felt before. You discover your own strength, balance, and stability while learning to hold the perfect mix of tension and grace. Flying teaches you to ground yourself even while inverted, builds incredible confidence, and deepens the emotional connection and trust with your partner.
The Spotter – The Unsung Hero of Safe Flight
The spotter is one of the most essential parts of acrobatic practice. As a spotter you stay aware and awake to keep the flyer safe. Spotting is an art that takes time to master, yet you can begin learning it from your very first class. Great spotters are adaptable — knowing exactly when to give hands-on support and when to stay back without being intrusive. You learn to calmly guide both base and flyer back into alignment when things get shaky, and most importantly, you master how to safely bring the flyer back to the ground every single time.
Acro is an intimate conversation held in the body: one person leads, one receives or both push firmly towards the same goal. Poses intertwine. Connection can’t help but be formed.
Couples leave with photos their friends won’t believe, three or four real skills, and the kind of Closeness that comes from holding someone’s full weight — and being held. It works for total beginners, and it’s habit-forming.
The classic energetic practice. Playful partner flows, flying, basing, and dynamic tricks on the floor. Great for building strength, connection, and having fun together.
Slower, deeper, and more sensual. Long breath-connected holds, therapeutic flying, heart-to-heart work, and gentle touch. Focused on intimacy, trust, and emotional connection rather than tricks.
That’s who this is designed for. Progressions start on the ground, I base and spot everything, and most couples are flying recognizable shapes within the first hour.
Everything happens on professional equipment with the safest spotting lines in Southern California, progressions are gradual, and I have spotted bodies for thirty years. You are never thrown into anything.

“My partner and I went to Tari as complete beginners to acroyoga. Our experience was amazing. Tari did an excellent job at explaining all the moves and ensuring we had fun while being safe all at the same time.”
“I had done nothing in the acro-balance world before — zero knowledge. In 2 sessions he covered the basic and important principles so thoroughly and calmly that my partner and I felt safe while creating beautiful shapes in the air.”
“I took a 90-minute class with my partner who wanted to try this out. We had a blast! I would highly recommend Tari if you are looking for private lessons in AcroYoga or want to take your yoga to the next level.”
